Pothole Drive Starts Today!

I’ve learned potholes in St. Pete Beach are repaired by a contractor.
Perhaps you have wondered why the pothole on your street has not been repaired? Let me share what I’ve learned and propose a solution.
First, the contract we negotiated stipulates when 15 potholes are reported on See-Click-Fix, then the contractor will bring the paving equipment and fix all 15 spots.
Think what this means about the pothole on your street!
I’ve entered into an agreement with the City Manager:
District 3 will begin a concentrated effort to report EVERY pothole or pavement problem requiring repair using SEE-CLICK-FIX.
SEE-CLICK-FIX: a few points.
The SEE-CLICK-FIX reporting link can be found on the city website: www.stpetebeach.org — and you will need to enter the issue as a guest or create an account. You can have your name displayed as part of the report or you can choose to have your name hidden.
Also there is an APP, if you would like to try it, for your phone.
When you enter SEE-CLICK-FIX, you are provided a list of “issues.” The issues are divided into WHO is responsible for fixing the problem: CITY, Partners, or COUNTY. For pavement problems BE CERTAIN TO SELECT THE CITY. Under the list of city issues, select roadway surface problem.
Don’t report the issue as a COUNTY pothole (be sure to report the problem as a CITY issue.
